COVID Update — December 28, 2020

We hope that you and your families had a pleasant and safe holiday weekend and joining all of us here at MBA for a New Year that continues to show us evidence of God's presence all around daily.

Here is an update of the second semester:

Move-In Day: January 4, (Monday) 2021:

Residents of Hixson Hall and Voth Hall only
Begin moving in after 9:30 am on January 4.
Immediate family only - please wear a mask and social distance as far as possible
No food service provided for lunch
Supper to the dorms will be provided for Monday, January 4.

School Begins: January 5, (Tuesday) 2021:

MBA received permission to open up for Cohorts
Cohort — 14 (maximum) students to one teacher — Homeroom
School Day 8 am to 3 pm (lunch provided)
Students who live off the MBA grounds will need to come up the front steps of Grunke Hall and into the building for a health check before proceeding to their assigned homeroom.
Once the school day is completed (3 pm) all students will return to their homes.
Length of Cohort — at this time MBA is planning for the cohorts from January 5 to January 22, 2021 (it could go longer).

Monterey Bay Academy for the second semester will go from January 5 to March 16 (half-day of school — Spring Break begins), and there will not be a February Home Leave.

Note: If universities (Southern, Walla Walla, and Union) permit, MBA is still planning on the college visits for those who have signed up.
